Alberta Hearing Voices Network

The Alberta Hearing Voices Network provides virtual Hearing Voices Groups for those who hear voices. The structure of the groups are based upon the Hearing Voices Movement, which emphasizes the commonality of voice-hearing experiences and that sharing one's experiences can be helpful in the process of making meaning from them.

Hearing Voices Groups are run by volunteer faciltators with either lived experience of hearing voices or peer support workers. Our support groups are peer-led and prior attendees are welcome to volunteer to facilitate the next month's group.

While we currently only offer virtual peer support groups we would love to provide in-person peer support groups in the future. Should members express interest, we may schedule an additional in-person group.

We are based in Calgary, Alberta but welcome attendees from all across Alberta. In addition, if you or your organization would like to host a Hearing Voices Group, you may contact us so we can list your group here as well.
